out an audit of the current situation within the team where the candidate
will be placed. Time spent understanding the human dynamics and commercial
pressures means that we can sell realistically an opportunity. Curtis Murray holds in-depth discussions with the key personnel involved and
specifically, all those who will ultimately be included in the interview
process.
The input of the human resources departments
at this stage, in the process can prove vital since it is not uncommon
for internal ‘turf wars’ to materialise. We often find
that the HR department can assist in diffusing differences of opinion
and steering the various interested parties towards a consensus.
