Richard has more than 20 years of experience delivering executive search and human capital advisory solutions to the Financial Services sector. His areas of specialisation encompass Investment Banking & Global Markets, Private Credit & Alternatives, Investment Management, Insurance (including ILS), Digital Infrastructure and Project Finance, as well as the Commodities and Energy markets etc.

He possesses extensive expertise in senior appointments, team lift outs, succession planning, executive bench building and the provision of compensation and talent intelligence analysis. Richard has operated across Asia, North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, undertaking and executing mandates throughout these regions.
Before transitioning into executive search, Richard worked as an Institutional derivatives salesperson in Global Markets and also has experience in Capital Raising and Fund Distribution.

Imelda has over 20 years of experience delivering capital raising mandates in private markets with a specific focus on the private equity sector. She specialises in capital formation, investor relations and fund placement mandates in the UK and Europe.

Imelda has a deep understanding of the fundraising and investor relations landscape, including the evolving expectations and strategic demands placed on these functions in recent years. She has played a pivotal role in helping numerous private equity firms design, shape and strengthen their capital formation and fundraising capabilities.

Her earlier career includes executive search and conference production within the alternative investment and broader investment management sectors. Imelda’s clients comprise leading UK and European private equity firms, global private capital advisory teams and infrastructure funds.

Richard works with a range of clients across Emerging Markets, almost exclusively in Africa, and to a lesser extent across the Middle East. He concentrates on the full gamut of private equity and private credit – including direct investments, advisory groups, fund of funds, secondary’s and placement agents. Richard also works with Infrastructure and Real Estate funds as well as Family Offices and various global Impact Funds, and Microfinance Banks in Europe and developing nations.

Richard has over twenty years search experience initially covering the just the European private equity, mezzanine and infrastructure markets, starting in London with Sheffield Haworth in 1998.
